And today, his first Mass

Mount St Joseph retreat house in Mosta hosted a truly special gathering of Jesuits and friends today as Rob Rizzo SJ celebrated his first Mass following his Ordination to the priesthood yesterday.

“I just want you to meet Jesus… The way I understand priesthood is that God promises each and every one of you that through your priests  you will be able to have a tangible experience of God through the sacraments,” Rob said in his homily.

It was an outdoor Mass in the fields, casual and communitarian, followed by a social gathering in the sunshine.
